The NEW thing

Isa 43:19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
At Word Of Grace church we have been in a season of a rich flow of God speaking to us. The year started with Him wooing us back to basics and to the first and greatest commandment i.e to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind soul and strength.That is with EVERYTHING we have.
God has been talking to us about coming to Him needy, with a broken and a contrite spirit, to drink do the Spirit which He freely gives.We can be strengthened in His presence alone.
This is also a season of the "New". God is doing a new thing in our lives and in the church. It is a season of refreshing, renewal, revival and change. This change - this new , will be different for different ones. For some God is changing the direction of your life . Embrace it. Forget what is in the past and move on.
So let us draw near to God and He will draw near to us. He is loving and gracious.

- For some the NEW is a season of knowing His favour and grace after a period of dryness and emptiness
- For some the NEW is a realignment of ones life - you've wandered away from the will and purpose of God. He is a God of the second chances. So come back and avail of His grace TODAY.
- For some it is a season of shaking and churning. Do not be afraid. God is with you. Sometimes we need to go through this for good to come . Its like unless the autumn leaves fall you will not get the fresh spring blossoms. God will shake and challenge anything sinful in our lives - habits, relationships, leisure, lifestyle etc. He wants to prepare His bride to be pure and spotless without blemish. You and I are His bride. He will not leave us to wallow in sin and wander about aimlessly. He has chosen us for a purpose and that cam at a very high cost - His very life. We are sons of the Most high God.
So let us draw near to God and He will draw near to us. He is loving and gracious.
