the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.”
Piper says God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him.
1 Corinthians 1:9
So what does private worship look like?
It means conversing with God thru your daily activities.
It means having daily quiet time.
It means having a time of prayer and worship when no one is looking and praising God in your quiet space.
It means displaying God thru your lifestyle, your mannerisms, and your behavior.
It means witnessing and preaching the gospel to others.
It means serving your wife, your family, and friends
It means embracing the poor when no one is watching.
It means releasing forgiveness.
It means working with honesty and integrity.
It means declaring your faith in Jesus and not renouncing it in times of trials.
It means sticking to Biblical morals, values and what’s right no matter the outcome or circumstance.
In short private worship is simply being obedient to God’s word and giving Him reverence in all that you do.
